A Day in San Francisco: Part 1

Yesterday, my cousin whisked me away on a surprise trip for her month-late birthday present to me. Her first surprise? A plane flight! Our flight took off as early as 7:15am, and we landed in Oakland around 8:20am.

Her plan was to take me to a bunch of different places that she'd discovered that I haven't seen yet, because despite this being my third time in San Francisco, I still had a lot to see. Mostly because my Asian "tour guide" parents only like to venture to the normal touristy areas (i.e. Golden Gate bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, & Union Square).

We took a rental car and made our first stop at Tartine Bakery. I picked out a "Double Pain au Chocolat" and a "Café au lait." Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because we took our food to go as we made our way to the Legion of Honor / Lands End Trail (which was death, by the way).

To be continued in part two...
