It's been a while since I've updated, and I'd usually include more photos, but for some reason many aren't showing up. So these are the select few that are. Orchid, being the nice cousin she is, offered to take me to the L.A. Fair last Monday (Labor Day) and of course, I took it! I missed the food so dearly. We spent about 7 1/2 hours at the fair. A lot of our time consisted of finding air-conditioning and shaded areas.
For food, I tried a sample called the "Duck Confit Slider" by the AI Food Truck and a beef Greek taco (also called a gyro). My favorite parts: seeing the Flower Pavilion, looking around the trucks, and the food. The them of the Flower Pavilion this year was London. I also met Pursebuzz from YouTube.
All in all, despite the heat of the sun's blazing UV rays, I enjoyed my time spent at the fair. Next time, I'll be willing to try even more food, and hopefully Orchid and I can go zip-lining the next time we go (if we do go together again). Anyways, I do recommend you all go! It's a lot of fun. I just recommend going later on in the day if you'd want the temperature and heat to be more comforting. Don't limit yourself to just one taste, try as much as you can with how much you have; it'll be worth it in the end.

It's sad that I love this cover more than I'll ever love the original.
