I Am (Not) Sixteen Going On Seventeen

These pictures don't do it justice, but the day of my actual birthday, I was pretty bummed. I won't go into detail or anything, but to put it bluntly: I got my hopes up.

Looking at these pictures, however, make me realize that hey, I'm only seventeen. Life's too short to complain.

*On a side note: I shouldn't complain. Today I saw an old man praying the Lord's prayer without anyone willing to join hands with him. Yet, I didn't have the heart to hold his hand myself as he was in the row in front of me. Kudos to him for still putting his faith in the Lord.

Looking back, I still can't believe how fast the time flew by. Feels like I just turned sixteen. Despite what went wrong that day, I actually had a blast the weekend after. I went to see the Head and the Heart, and even met Bryan John Appleby. If you've followed my blog for a while now, you'd know my absolute favorite song from them is "Rivers and Roads."

I'm only acquiring a bit this time as a haulage but overall I'm content with what I have. And in the meantime, we're saving up for next year, as I'm trying to have a debut. If the Lord answers my prayers, I will.

Look out for the next post, as I will be showing you what exactly I have received/purchased for a birthday haulage.

I hope you all have a nice day.

Keep Watch.

Hello lovelies!

If you've kept up with recent updates on tumblr/instagram/twitter, then you'll know I've just turned 17 this past Thursday. *eyebrow scrunches* That's still so weird to say.

Anyways, I've not taken a picture of my haulage yet because I'm still in the works of getting everything. I have a gift card from Target, as well as Sephora, so once I've put those to use, I'll put everything together to show you all.

In the meantime, thanks for sticking around if you still read my blog. Sorry the updates have been lacking, but I'm sort of a busy bee this school year. I'm hoping to get into a UC.

Just this morning, I had my first behind-the-wheel training. I've never driven before, but my instructor said I did a good job. He said I just need to relax, and in all honesty he thought I'll be a good driver. All because I can control my speed pretty well. I didn't crash into anything, yay! I can do a u-turn adequately on intersections, with traffic lights, but I'm not so good at it on regular side-streets. And I need to work on my parking, out of all things. LOL.

Here's a present I got that I've already demolished:

Well, ciao for now.
